Instead of bushings, almost every "high end" machine utilizes wheel bearings for several reasons. Bearings create significantly less drag than bushings, resulting in a much smoother ride. This lack of drag is also gentler on the grass. Bearings also fit much tighter than bushings, preventing wheel wobble and mitigating damaging axle wear. It is common with bushings that grease will escape and collect dust, causing extreme axle wear.

With this conversion, you will NEVER need to grease again! Our bearing inner seals are also removable for customers who want to continue using grease.

Complete Rebuild Kit

The all-inclusive kit was designed by our engineering staff, boasting over 50 years of industry experience. Our conversion kit provides all the required parts, including thrust washers. It is easy to damage the E-Clips (snap rings) during this repair, so we include 2 new E-Clips - just in case.
